I stayed for 3 nights with my family and found the breakfast to be quite enjoyable. Despite the hustle and bustle in the dining area, the staff kept everything stocked, which made for a pleasant morning start. The room was spacious and clean, but I did experience a bit of inconvenience when the shower gel container was empty and I had to request fresh towels. Overall, it was a decent stay with a bright lobby and comfortable seating area.

Great spot near SFO
Stayed for a couple of nights and loved the vibe! The hotel felt super fresh and clean, which is a big deal for me. Staff was really chill and helped us out with the airport shuttle. There’s also some decent food options just a short walk away, tho I wouldn't recommend the nearby Denny's as it looked kinda sketch. Just a heads up, there was a plastic bag on the smoke detector in our room.

I had a wonderful stay at Hampton Inn & Suites San Mateo-San Francisco Airport. Everything felt brand new, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, featuring a great assortment of choices that were consistently replenished, thanks to the attentive staff.
No water bottles in the room.

It was just a perfect match for a brief sojourn in San Mateo with fantastic value. The breakfast selection was quite diverse, making mornings enjoyable. Try to request a room away from the elevator for peace and quiet at night.

the hampton inn was great! loved the free breakfast and how the staff kept everything stocked, even with lots of guests. the location is perfect, surrounded by dining options and just a quick ride to the mall. really enjoyed the coffee bar that was available 24/7, too. most convenient stay!

Friendly staff, comfortable room. the staff were incredibly helpful in organizing our transportation to the airport, and the comfort of the room was enhanced by the great air conditioning and flat-screen TV.
